Web Design

While at Sapient, I had the opportunity to work with a small team of interns from each department to rebrand the internship program itself. Culminating in a responsive website and application, the project taught us how to collaborate on market research, UX design, user testing, style guidelines, copywriting, visual design, and finally coding. The UX intern and I worked side by side to get the website looking and feeling just right, from the connection to the parent brand to the unique flare of the internship program.


Digital

Working at a large digital agency where many hands work together on one project, I learned the importance of consistency, readability, and extreme file organization. I was handed design templates in every file format - Photoshop, InDesign,PowerPoint, Illustrator, Keynote, etc - and was tasked with filling them based on the client's asks and the team's design standards. I learned the process of finding/creating and combining assets to create various parts of a campaign, from the client presentation to paid social to wearable swag. 


Design x Illustration

As an illustrator trained in traditional and digital media, my strengths cross disiplines: from storyboarding to hand drawn design elements to motion graphics, I put a unique spin on visuals. While studying illustration, I freelanced as a graphic designer, and clients approached me with projects that needed the touch of energy that illustration provides. 


Print

As an illustrator with a background in digital design and aspirations to publish children's books, print is where it all comes together. I have worked on books, posters, and even a print advertising campaign that went viral on Tumblr. You know you've made it when your work is made into a meme...
